Sally Dworsky
Sally Dworsky is an accomplished singer and songwriter in a variety of contexts. She comes from St. Paul Minnesota where she began her career in the Twin Cities thriving theater and music scenes. Since relocating to the Los Angeles area she has recorded and toured extensively on her own and as a member of the band "Uma". Aside from her solo work, she can be heard harmonizing on an impressive list of other artist's albums, provided the singing voice for animated characters in films such as "The Lion King", "Prince of Egypt" and "Shrek", and has been a frequent guest on NPRs "A Prairie Home Companion". While raising her two young children, she continues to do most of the above. She is thrilled now to be following her path back to her "Roots" music, and is honored to be the cantorial soloist at Hillel this year. |
